The seventeen second teaser has Kareena dressed in a sexy red saree dancing to desi beats to a song that has been sung by American R&B singing sensation, Akon. Shah Rukh Khan also matches steps with Kareena in the song. The dance has been choreographed by renowned Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya. The full version of the song will be released soon. “Wanna Be My Chammak Challo” are the lyrics of the film.

‘Agneepath’ is a remake of the 1990 film of the same name. The film has Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The film is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and is directred by Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan will reprise Amitabh Bachchan’ role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan while Sanjay Dutt will play Kancha Cheena. Prakash Jha’s next venture is yet another attempt by the film maker to address socially relevant issues. Jha’s next film, Aarakshan that stars, Saif Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpai deals with the reservation system especially in the education sector that is prevalent in India.
Prakash Jha’s upcoming film, Aarakshan that deals with the reservation system based on castes in educational institutions and government jobs is set for release on 12th August. Says Jha,"Reservation is a wide and complex issue. I am not making a statement for or against it through my film. I am only trying to explore it in a story form. Audiences are very intelligent and they can find solution themselves.” The film is jointly produced by Prakash Jha and Firoz A. Nadiadwala. Most of the film has been shot in Bhopal. Bollywood composers, Shankar- Ehsaan-Loy have composed the music for the film. Lyricist Prasoon Joshi has written the lyrics for the songs and also composed the music of the title track of the film, Kaun si Dor which has been sung by Pandit Chunnulal Misra. Says Joshi, "I was just writing the songs for Aarakshan. A tune came to my head. I discussed it with Shankar (Music director Shankar Mahadevan is also his close friend) and he liked the tune. It was not at all pre-planned and it happened quite by accident."
Aarakshan revolves around Dr. Prabhakar Anand, who is an idealistic college principal and who does not believe in casteism. Jha has cast Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan in this pivotal role. However, by turn of events he is accused of being a casteist by all including his favourite student Deepak Kumar played by Saif Ali Khan who is also in love with Dr. Anand’s daughter, Poorbie, portrayed by Deepika Padukone, What follows is Poorbie misunderstanding Deepak who happens to be a dalit. Rest remains to be seen in the film. Shedding some light on this character, Amitabh Bachchan said, his character does not believe in casteism but also feels that reservations are meant to be opportunities to weaker sections to move forward. The film also braoches the subject ofhow opportunities for education are becoming increasingly commercialised. It highlights the commercialisation of education system.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be seen in a never before role of her career as she plays South India’s sexy siren, Silk Smitha in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Dirty Picture’. The film is being directed by Milan Luthria of Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai fame. Vidya Balan who is known to get into the skin of the characters she plays, is working hard to get the perfect look for her portrayal of Silk Smitha. Vidya had to lose some kilos, not to look thinner or skinny but to achieve the perfect curves like Silk Smitha who was known for her curvaceous body.
The role demanded Vidya to lose some weight first and then gain some! But the Vidya refused saying that she can’t gain weight and then lose the extra kilos fast enough. News is that the actress will be taking the help of cosmetic add ons to achieve the desired look for the role. Sources revealed that the talented actress would have to use prosthetics to increase her bust line for a part of the film (the very part for which she had to gain a few extra kilos), and she would have to do the same for the hips as well. The producer Ekta Kapoor has zeroed in on AD Shahana and make up person Vikram dada to give Vidya the much needed rounded and voluptuous look for the film! Vidya Balan will be seen wearing hot pants, low necks and petticoats only with blouses and without the sarees.

July 2011 will witness yet another kids’ film in the form of ‘Chillar Party’. The film is the first production venture of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has produced the film along with Ronnie Screwvala of UTV Spot Boy. The film is the story of a gang of street children.
Salman Khan’s ‘Chillar Party’ is all set to woo the audiences this July! The film is the Bollywood superstar’s maiden production venture along with Ronnie Screwvala, the honcho of UTV Spot Boy. Chillar Party is directed by Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari. The film revolves around a gang of seven innocent children called Encyclopedia, Jhanghia, Akram, Used, Panauti, Muffler, Aflatoon and Shaolin who lead a free and spirited life in Chandan Nagar Colony. But their lives change forever with the advent of two other strangers called, Fatka and Bheedu. Fatka and Bheedu become an inseparable part of the ‘Chillar Party’ gang. Things become difficult for these feisty kids when Bheedu’s life is threatened by a wicked politician. The members of ‘Chillar party’ get together and rescue their friend and fight the big bad world of politics. In an age where reason outweighs emotions, Chillar Party prods everyone to feel rather than to think. They prove that what seems to be right is not always right.
Chillar Party is an outright children’s film. But directors Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari decided to give it an interesting twist by including an item song by Bollywood’s poster boy, Ranbir Kapoor, thereby making him Bollywood’s first item boy. The young Kapoor scion will be seen in a cameo in the film and will also be seen gyrating in the item number – Tai Tai Phis, which is also the title track of the film. The music of the film has been created by Amit Trivedi. This particular song is a mix of street instruments, local voices and dialect. The song has been choreographed by Bosco Caesar, while Trivedi and his mother have sung the song.
"Ranbir saw the film and loved it. That’s when we requested him if he would do an item song for the kids and he loved the idea, and readily agreed," said director Bahl. Ranbir plays himself in the song in a "tapori" style which is inspired by one of the characters in the film. The young actor has been bonding with the kids to make them comfortable and getting inspired by some of their moves, he said.

The stage is all set for Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Torchaar. The participants of the reality show were recently unveiled. The show will have thirteen male and thirteen female participants. These thirteen pairs will have to experience fear as they are made to indulge in nail biting dangerous stunts. Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Torchaar, will be hosted by Khiladi Akshya Kumar, putting to rest the rumours that had Salman Khan as the host.

The music album for a forthcoming Bollywood film, ‘Shor in the city’ was released by the lead actors of the film, Tusshar Kapoor and Preeti Desai at the Radio City studio in Mumbai. Preeti Desai makes her debut in Bollywood with this film. The background score for the film has been created by Roshan Machado, while the Bollywood music directors, Sachin-Jigar have created the tracks for the film which releases on 29th April, 2011. ‘Shor in the City’ is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and has Sendhil Ramamurthy, Nikhil Dwivedi, Pitobash Tripathi, Sundeep Kishan, Girija Oak, Radhika Apte and Amit Mistry in the supporting roles. The film is produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dk.
At the music launch, Tusshar Kapoor said that ‘Saibo’ was his favourite number that has been rendered by Shreya Ghoshal and Tochi Raina. Some of the other singers who have sung a few songs in the film are Suraj Jagan, Priya Panchal, Swati Mukund, Mohan, Shriram Iyer and Agnee. Roop Kumar Rathod and Kailash Kher are two renowned names who have also sung for the film.

The music launch of 404, a psychological thriller by Prawaal Raman witnessed the presence of some big names in Bollywood like, Sudhir Mishra and Vishal Bharadwaj. Naseeruddin Shah’s elder son, Imaad Shah has composed the music for this film. Imaad is an immensely talented youngster who makes his debut as a music director with 404. Imaad has also penned the lyrics and also has a role in the film. At the event, the young and talented performer revealed that more than creating music, penning a song based on a theme and arranging for music was something that really enjoyed. Sachin Tendulkar, added one more accomplishment to the long list of accolades when he was conferred with the honorary rank of Group Captain by the Indian Air Force on 3rd September 2010. He is the first Indian sportsperson to be given the prestigious rank by the IAF and the first person with no aviation record to have this recognition.
Indian President Pratibha Patil had announced this honorary rank on 23rd June. The batting legend is now the brand ambassador for the Indian Air Force and will look forward to inspire the nation's youth to join the IAF. The rank was bestowed upon the Mumbai lad by IAF chief, Air Marshall P V Naik. "The President and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of India is pleased to confer Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar the honorary rank of Group Captain of the Indian Air Force," the IAF said.
Sachin was honored in recognition for his magnificent contribution to the Indian national cricket team and for being a sports person par excellence. Thrilled with the actual ceremony Sachin said, "It's a great pleasure and honor to come here and to be honored by IAF. This is a very important day for me and I will remember this, my entire life. I cannot say this is a dream come true, but it was only wishful thinking and it has come true. It is indeed a great honor that I have been considered for honorary Group Captain in the IAF. As an Indian I am proud to be associated with the dynamic force and I shall do my very best to be brand ambassador for the force."

The makers of the iconic songs 'Maaeri' and 'Dhoom Pichak' EUPHORIA have come up with another hit number, this time it's for the upcoming Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010. Dr. Sen says, "Sheilaji is a fan of Euphoria, so she asked me to compose two versions of the anthem - one each in Hindi and English. It is a huge honour for me to be part of such a prestigious event." The English track will be called 'Gateway to your Heart', a two and half minute track which will connect with the international audience.
The FIFA World Cup 2010 saw a 30 second song promo of the song being released on TV channels and web simultaneously. "The idea was to make tunes that people can sing," Sen reveals. "That's been the USP (Unique Selling Point) of Euphoria. Euphoria always tries to create modern songs, with Indian souls," he smiles. "So the music has a hint of rock, but we've also used a lot of tabla, dhol and other Indian instruments, in a way that the entire world can relate to the song." The latest film to join the long list of sequels in Bollywood is the roller coaster comedy 'Double Dhamaal'. Shot in Varanasi, this video introduced Euphoria and marked the coming of age of popular film maker Pradeep Sarkar, who has directed films like "Parineeta" and the latest blockbuster, "Lafangey Parindey". Khel Khel Mein is a sports based reality show that was recently launched on the Indian national channel, Doordarshan. The Step families are at loggerheards, until one day the mother (Dimple Kapadia) dies and Chulbul Pandey breaks all relations with his step family.
There are some unscrupulous individuals who are waiting for just this occasion, like the character played by Sonu Sood and Mahesh Manjrekar. No guesses for who comes up trumps in the end, but one can just say that he rushes of the move are quite intriguing and some of Chulbul Pandey's dialogues are enough to justify a ticket price!
